ABSTRACT DEPICTION OF METAPHORS :
Lecture 3 was about self reflection. At the beginning of the lecture we were asked to list down 10 metaphors that reflected our personality. These metaphors had to purely represent our personality on a personal level and not be a second party’s opinion. Next, we had to draw these metaphors in abstract form on 4×4 inch card papers and colour it. Following are some of the metaphors I feel reflect my inner personality –
- Disha is like burj khalifa – because I am pretty tall
- Disha is a box hidden in a box – because people think they know me but there’s always a hidden part.
- Disha is a painkiller – because I have healing properties
- Disha is like the internet explorer – never gets to the point directly
- Disha is like a sleeping volcano – usually calm but can explode suddenly
- Disha is like a broken tape recorder – never stops talking
We wrote 15 such metaphors and then picked 10 of them to represent in abstract form using brown card file sheets squares.
