After thoroughly understanding the basics, we now moved on to a little advanced tools – Paragraph styles, text wrap and character styles. This is my process work/ rough work using place holder text.
Next ma’am explained to us our next assignment – we had to create 2 publications, 8-12 pages each. These could be brochures, magazines or zines – basically anything we like.
I chose to make the first one a brochure that consists of my favourite music album covers.
REFLECTION –
Making my first ever publication helped me understand the softwares better, even though the main layout was made on Indesign, I used image trace from Illustrator to edit the images available online as per my preferences and needs. Ma’am also helped me understand how the tools in Photoshop, Illustrator and indesign can be used to create a single piece.
