Ma’am started off this lecture by reviewing our publications. My second publication was my creation of a vogue trend report. I have used paragraph styles, place holder texts, coloumns, baseline grids, page numbers, etc to create this piece.
Below is my publication and it’s masterpage.
Next we were taught a few advance tools of illustrator. We made custom made graphic styles, learnt how to save them for the future, edit them as per requirement and also learnt how to change apperances of texts and objects.
REFLECTIONS –
- I learnt how to use new tools in illustrator today. This will help me to create new graphic styles for my future projects.
- My second publication is inspired from the vogue trend report 2011. The layout is very simple, it follows a 3 column structure that includes text boxes and frames.
- Theme of every page varies – it is a monochromatic / mono style based structure. I chose Mono as my base theme because it allows me to showcase multiple styles in a single tone all together.
