We were instructed to bring a test print of our layout – with the stories in place. There are some placeholder images since i had some confusion so as what to incorporate where.
Unfortunately there was a printing error and so my entire layout was disturbed. There had to be a blank page before the contents but it was missing hence the separating pages (black) that were supposed to be on the left side were now on the right and the stories corresponding to them were now on the back.
REFLECTIONS –
By taking a test print i realised that my document had some minor issues –
- In a particular spread my text was getting cut
- Add a blank page after cover page
REFLECTIONS –
Since this was a test print, i stapled it to measure where the center was and how easy flipping the pages are. Ma’am then informed us that we could only glue bind/ thread bind our final copy.
Above on the last page, i was testing out an idea – where the font of every letter increases as the sentence goes on. Unfortunately due to size restrictions i could not incorporate it in my final book.
